Light Bright

Buying an old house in Florida means NO lighting or OLD lighting with minimal windows. It's scorching hot most of the year, so can you blame anybody for building houses that are dark? We probably couldn't afford the air bill if we had any more windows. All that to say that the lighting is key. It is one of the first things that needs to happen. Dark houses make me feel like I'm living in a cave. I don't like caves. I like the idea of quirky, interesting lighting that acts as another
art piece to look at. I also want something that is going to be bright and warm. These are some inspiring and interesting light fixtures that I found while searching the web.

I love the brass with the yellow I am thinking about for the kitchen.

We have the classic builder grade light fixture in one of our hallways. How fun is this thing?

I love the crystal. It's so neutral and sparkley.
CA Stacked Crystal Table Lamp Base

WOW...Throw a map in a lamp! LOVE IT I like the idea of throwing new and interesting things inside when you get bored of the other things inside of the lamp.
